Saturn turned direct today

Saturn turned direct just this morning thus gaining strength to take forward all its intrinsic portfolios. As far as Indian politics is concerned, I hope esteemed readers would probably agree with me that many political events were foretold and some could just touching the outer periphery in terms of time frame and impact.

The bickering in all major political parties is now in the public domain. The Astrological compass pointing towards indications of Dharma prevailing, contextually, is not yet perceptible to our satisfaction. The main reason being until July 14, Jupiter, though exalted was transiting in the Badhaka rasi from Saturn which was also retrograde since March 14. The moment Mars entered Gemini on June 16 we witnessed a lot of political turmoil but still nothing much happened with the seriousness that we were expecting. Jupiter entering Leo on July 14 is indeed an excellent point and Saturn direct today is sure to excite Jupiter with its 10th aspect.

Saturn which turned retrograde on March 14 was then transiting in 4th amsa of Scorpio viz., Libra, the 6th sign of Indian Independence chart and now it is getting direct in Leo, the 2nd amsa of Scorpio. This conveys that all matters regarding 6th, 5th and 4th Bhava of India will surely get revised. Interestingly, the 4th bhava stands for termination (of power?) apart from a host of other points in Astrology. In this context, let us note that we lost an excellent People’s President Dr.Abdul Kalaam when Jupiter was about to move from the badhaka amsa to 2nd amsa. Jupiter stands for elderly, scholarly etc., while in the 2nd amsa until August 15, it is quite likely that senior politicians are under problem, may be health or external threat. The Astrological reason being Jupiter the lord of 8th (and 11th) of India transiting in the 4th house and in amsa transiting in 2nd amsa of 4th sign may not be good.

Mercury enters Leo on August 4 at 1802 hrs IST and this will surely set the ground for further war of words between political parties. Further, Jupiter enters the 3rd amsa of Leo on August 15 at 0222 hrs which will be detrimental to the Government and then every passing hour from then will be a litmus test for it. On August 17 at 1227 hrs, Sun enters its own sign Leo and this means that in Leo there will be four planets viz., Jupiter, retrograde Venus (the Lagna lord of India), Mercury and Sun. Perhaps mega events towards restoration of some moral and ethical values in governance will show its head up.

Transit of Jupiter to Leo

Although Jupiter moved to Leo on July 14, 2015, Leo being a fixed sign (sthira rasi) the first amsa corresponds to Aries which is a badhaka rasi for planet/s in Leo. Thus Jupiter could not do much except it set the ground for the political turbulence that India is in now. Further, the impact of Jupiter got shadowed by Rahu in Navamsa (all with reference to current transit of planets).

In earlier posts I did mention that ever since Saturn entered Scorpio on November 2, 2014, Jupiter was rendered impact less since it was in the badhaka rasi from Scorpio. The transits in the offing are as under;

  • Rahu moves back to amsa of Jupiter viz., Pisces on July 25, 2015 and hence the shadow of it on Jupiter gets removed.
  • Venus now in Leo gets retrograde by 1500 hrs. on July 25, while it is transiting in the 3rd amsa of Leo viz., the third sign of the Zodiac which is Gemini the second house of Indian Independence chart.
  • Mars now transiting in Gemini will move to Cancer, its debilitated sign on July 31, 2015. It will roll over five planets viz., Sun, Moon, Saturn, Mercury and Venus thus exciting all those planets and the relevant houses corresponding to them.
  • July 30, 2015, Jupiter moves to second amsa coming out of badhaka amsa. Thus it will get a chance to discharge its duties.
  • Under the circumstances above mentioned, Venus will get retrograde at 1500 hrs. on July 25, 2015 and is conjoined with Jupiter in Leo.
  • Saturn will get direct on August 2, 2015.

The resultant effect of the critical transits mentioned above is estimated to be like this;

  • The Government is very likely to retrace/retract many steps and strategies.
  • There will be judicial compulsions for the Government to strictly follow the rule of law.
  • There will be escalation in political tensions and the ruling party may face severe setback on many fronts.
  • Many more hidden scandals, frauds and mischievous activities will come to surface.

We have already surpassed the proverbial statement “even in madness there should be a method” and at present we have no choice except to rely upon Jupiter receiving the 10th aspect of Saturn and Saturn itself aspecting the lagna and the 9th house, of course, once it becomes direct on August 2. Venus getting retrograde on July 25 and direct on September 6, 2015 could be very interesting to watch out.
