A Divine Blueprint of Karma and Liberation

Prashna Siddhi’s Insight While the Bhagavad Gita does not explicitly reference astrology or the zodiac, this post offers a spiritual reflection that draws symbolic connections between the Gita’s teachings on Karma, Dharma, and Liberation, and the twelvefold structure of the Zodiac — as seen through the lens of Vedic Prashna astrology.

Introduction:

Beyond Words — The Divine Pulse Behind Sacred Scriptures and Astrology
Sacred texts across civilizations—whether the revered Bhagavad Gita or others from different corners of the world—are not mere compilations of spoken or written doctrines. They are living transmissions from enlightened souls, who, having glimpsed the highest Truth, sought to light the path for humanity. These revelations are not bound by caste, color, creed, or geography. They are timeless messages from the Divine to the soul.

Among all life forms in the cosmic hierarchy, the human birth is considered the most precious. It is not just an opportunity—it is a divine calling. But somewhere along the way, the purpose behind this sacred communication has been twisted—distorted to serve political ambitions, commercial interests, and shallow entertainment.

Astrology, too, has not been spared. Once a spiritual tool to help souls navigate the karmic maze and move closer to liberation, it is now often reduced to a transactional service—serving desires rather than dissolving them. Instead of awakening us to the transient nature of this world, it increasingly binds us to it, life after life.

This post is not just an index. It is a call to awaken—especially to astrologers—to return to the essence. It brings together key ideas, blog links, and video insights published on Prashnasiddhi.com and across our platforms. Let this be your gateway to a deeper, spiritually aligned understanding of astrology—not as a profession, but as a path of light.

1. Zodiac: Signature of Lord Krishna — Land of Karma

“You have a right to perform your prescribed duties, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions… nor be attached to inaction.” – Bhagavad Gita 2.47

This statement has a profound meaning. We have the option or right to act both in the right direction or the wrong direction. The choice is ours, thus giving us the liberty to perform actions leaving the results to the Creator. This in fact, is the greatest of our problems which can lead either to good or bad results.

This duality is reflected in the Planets except Sun and Moon owning 2 Zodiac signs each. Obviously, because of our temptations for materialistic possessions of wealth, honor and attachment to this world, we choose the wrong one not knowing the end results and that is why Lord Krishna “you have the right to action”. Sun depicting Soul or Atman is ever pristine while Moon depicting mind is full of human desires of sorts which keeps changing every split second and accumulates Karma thereby creating a burden on Soul. That is why Moon owns the 12th sign from Sun which reverberates a strong Spiritual message “annihilate mind” which is straight away meaning “emancipation”.

Just as Krishna taught Arjuna, the Zodiac is a celestial signature of karma in motion. Every sign, every planet, every moment carries encoded lessons about the soul in action. Astrology reminds us that we are not the doer—life unfolds through Krishna’s cosmic script. The Zodiac, then, becomes the realm where karmic forces enact their divine drama.

Moon-centric predictions are derailing the society and fuelling human desires unabated and the Zodiac is directly on to helping people to get rid of their desires and keep in mind “Atman”.

This is exactly where the Divine timed Vedic Prashna Kundali of Prashna Siddhi can guide you but not fuel further desires rather speaks of “upfront Truth”. Prediction or Guidance – you can choose!

2. Zodiac Architecture: A Roadmap to Emancipation

In Chapter 5, Lord Krishna defines Karma-Sanyasa Yoga—the path of renunciation while acting:

“Renunciation is not about stopping action—it is acting without attachment and dissolving the ego.”

Like the Gita’s message, the architecture of the Zodiac, through twelve signs and planetary aspects, guides the soul from karmic bondage toward liberation. Mapping that cosmic terrain is a spiritual design—revealed layer by layer, house by house, aspect by aspect.

Now, let us jump straight away to the very first sign of the Zodiac which is Aries and the Lord of it is Mars. Mars is a trigger-happy planet both in the right direction and wrong direction also. Everyone has the freedom to act, right or wrong. Actions, no matter how high the person in this Universe is surely under the grip of his/her own doing and cannot escape the Cosmic Law of Karma. Thus, Lord Krishna said – you have the right to action but not the fruits of it. Therefore, the Zodiac’s first sign is Aries, the lord of it is Mars which owns the first and the 8th sign of the Zodiac. Our own action binds us to the result which cannot be estimated. Why?

The Zodiac’s lunar mansion begins with Ketu’s star Ashwini. Ketu is a reverse moving shadow and not a physical planet as we all know. Why shadow and reverse moving? Obviously, the doer does not know what exactly he is doing and is susceptible to hazards of unknow magnitude. This is nothing short of “Maya” or illusion which is predominant in this world. The action one starts has to end up in a result and that is why Mars owns the 8th sign – the liquidating sign of the Zodiac Scorpio. Thus, our actions are binding on us and we have to own the responsibility for our actions meeting the ends of justice and hence we find the last Pada of Vishaka, Jupiter’s star in Scorpio.

Ego is embedded in actions unless one is following the righteous path of Dharma depicted by Saturn. That is why Saturn is debilitated in Aries. Notwithstanding this point, Astrologer’s concept of good and bad is only from materialistic points of view while the Spiritual perspectives are left behind in the cold storage or even a goodbye.

We have no words to describe the marvelous architecture of the Zodiac. Aries, the first sign of the Zodiac starting with the star of Ketu, the reverse moving shadow simply coveys a mad rush to be born again as per debilitated Dharma or in other words strictly governed by past actions.

And once born in this world, the next obvious thing is to enjoy on a fixed basis in the transitory world depicted by the next sign – the second sign of the Zodiac Taurus depicting fixed pleasures and thus Taurus is a fixed sign. There is a perfect Spiritual logic in the creation of the Zodiac while Astrology is more into predicting materialistic and mundane aspects of human life. It looks like many mythological stories are held in high esteem in total regard to Spiritual needs for emancipation as per Bhagavad Gita.

3. Planets & Asterisms: Language of the Soul, Not Material Desire

Krishna teaches:

“Perform your obligatory duty; action is better than inaction.” – Gita 3.8
But the purpose of duty is spiritual evolution. Planets speak not of material ambition but reflect the deeper soul’s calling. Rahu inflames desire, Ketu withdraws to vision. Beneath these patterns lies the language of dharma, of purpose aligned to cosmic timing—not mere worldly success.

The Zodiac typically symbolize the materialistic human life and its pattern yet conveying the profound Spiritual message of Lord Krishna which is a communication by Soul to Soul, while distortions have crept in due to many commercial pollutions backed up by mythological stories and “Rule-book Astrology” with an attempt to ignore the quint essence of the Creator’s intent.

Astrology has been reduced to mere Predictive tool just fueling human desires, time and again. Incidentally, this is a part and parcel of the “Grand Illusion or Maya” which is ruling the world. Is it not high time that at least whisper the truth of human life against fueling desires and ambitions?

4. Special Aspects: Written Messages from the Soul

The Gita describes ahamkāra—the ego illusion of doership:

“All actions are performed by the gunas of nature, but one deluded by ahamkāra thinks ‘I am the doer.’

In astrology, special aspects—conjunctions, oppositions, yogas—are karmic stamps. They are the “writing on the wall”, destined to trigger ego-dissolving tests if not transcended. These configurations demand awareness and transformation—not exploitation.

It is quite unnecessary to repeat the contents of Prashna Siddhi’s amazing Blog Post on Special Aspects of Planets which conveys in no uncertain terms, the Doctrine of Karma – as you sow, so shall you reap.

To get a comprehensive knowledge why Planets Jupiter, Saturn and Mars have special aspects with adequate Spiritual reasoning, you should read this article in a relaxed manner and introspect setting aside all biases. Read this at:  The Special Aspects of Planets: A Spiritual Lens
– Why Do Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars Have Special Aspects?
https://prashnasiddhi.com/blog/the-special-aspects-of-planets

I am pretty confident that you will not find this unique article anywhere since centuries in the world however hard you try.

The trine aspect in Astrology has tones of meaning even in prediction which any astrologer would tacitly agree. Look at the geometry of the Zodiac brought out in the above cited article. Is it not the Srichakra of Hindu Prayer and worship LOGO like depiction. Repeated triangles depicting Srichakra is nothing short of saying ‘Life repeats itself by birth and death, again and again.

Now do you find it easy to understand this article on Bagavad Gita is a pictorial representation of the Zodiac with the Spiritual signature of Lord Krishan on it and are we not lucky to read this article?

5. The Gita in Geometry: Scriptures in Zodiac Form

Krishna is described as omnipresent or Aman.

God is one and religions are man-made and every specie has a soul in it created by none other than One Creator. God is nothing but a Primal source of energy – omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent.

Social and economic status is man-made to inflate ego and that is what is to be annihilated. But the Society is under the strong grip of “Illusion or Maya” and just because it is physically witnessed by all of us, should we not value the Spiritual perspectives in this world starting with Bagvad Gits the pictorial representation of which is the Zodiac which is exclusively meant to walk the path of emancipation whereas Astrology is being deflected only as a prediction tool, totally ignoring the very purpose for which the Zodiac, Planets and the Lunar Mansion has been created.

Now, the ball is in your court and play it as you deem it fit.

“Lord Krishan pervades all places, in all bodies, pervading all fields of experience.” – Gita 13.27. Where is the scope to think of superiority, no matter who we and where we are.

This geometric truth is mirrored in the Zodiac: planets, asterisms, aspects form a stellar scripture—a divine geometry. Just as the Gita conveys spiritual law through verse, the Zodiac makes those laws visible in cosmic form.

Conclusion:

The Bhagavad Gita is not a book to be read once—it is a living presence that unfolds differently each time, just as a birth chart reveals different layers over time. The Zodiac, when seen through the lens of the Gita, becomes less of a fate-machine and more of a mirror for self-realization. It does not bind—it beckons. Every planetary position, every dasha, every Prashna is an invitation from the Divine to rise above ego and merge with Dharma.

The Bhagavad Gita does not belong only to the battlefield of Kurukshetra — it belongs to your daily battlefield of choices.

The Zodiac is not just an astrological chart — it is your soul’s curriculum for this lifetime.

When the two meet, the result is a clearer, richer, more purposeful life — lived in harmony with the divine plan.

The Bhagavad Gita tells us how to live; the Zodiac tells us when and why events unfold. When understood together, they guide us toward our highest purpose—not through blind faith, but through conscious, divine alignment.

May we not just study astrology—but walk it with awareness, like Arjuna guided by Krishna.

Fluctuations in job/profession and earning potential causing concern? Astrological perspectives – Read this article in 3 minutes

Overview about Job

Perhaps this is a subject which is an important aspect of everyone’s life. Thoughts on the issue and the future thereof, crosses our mind almost constantly, generally. The Astrological perspectives if unveiled can give us peace of mind from the point of view of what to expect and when. Here are some points in the form of FAQs (frequently asked questions):

1. Is birth chart very essential?
If birth chart is not available or not accurate, it can be still answered through Horary or Prasna Shastra

2. If in our birth chart 10th house which defines our profession and also accomplishment, is afflicted, does it affect the person right through his or her life?
Not necessarily. It depends on the Dasha, Bhukti and Antra which is a tool in Astrology comparable to measurement of time or phase of life. If something on the job front is not ok for some time, it may not mean that it is a permanent issue lasting throughout the life.

3. Does the earning potential vary?
Yes, as an aftermath of the points stated above, the earning potential also gets moderated suitably.

4. Apart from Dasha, Bhukthi and Antra, is there any other point/s that impacts our life?
Yes, the transit of slow moving planets viz., Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu may give favourable or unfavourable results depending upon our birth chart. Saturn stays in one Zodiac sign for about 30 months, Jupiter about 13 months and Rahu/Ketu for about 18 months.

5. Has the Creator designed the life to somehow find a balance between good and bad?
Yes, we have to accept the facts of destiny and owe our gratitude that God has at least given a chance to continue life, sometimes a bit easily and sometimes with tough time. Through Astrology, it is possible to know the patches of good and bad period and thus look at life holistically and be in peace considerably.

6. Why the difficulties are selectively experienced and ‘why me?’ is a common question for many of us?
Obviously, this question haunts most of us. The reason is ‘Karma Theory’ – as you sow, so you reap – is the nucleus of our life. We are not aware of our good deeds and bad deeds in the past lives. Whether we believe in this philosophy or not, it is imperative that the effects haunt us and we are helpless. Sometimes we feel how come some decidedly bad people are still enjoying the life now; the answer is that we are not aware of their past good deeds. However, God’s mill will grind slowly, but surely!

7. Is God kind and merciful?
Yes, God can be taken for granted as kind and merciful which every religion agrees without any doubt. Let us be sure that God, of course through the planets will surely be kind for all those who believe and love God. It is very essential that we respect and treat well everyone, and specifically parents, with love and affection apart from practicing right moral values. God will provide sufficient strength and confidence to face life even under adverse circumstances.

8. Are there any remedies available to lessen the adverse impact, if any, of the planets?
Yes. Firstly those who respect and value what is stated in the above paragraph stand out distinctly better. Secondly, wearing appropriate Gem stones may also reduce the negative impact of planets.Astrology is a subject meant to build confidence in ourselves and inspire. We can also in a manner limit our ambitions so that disappointment can be avoided or reduced. Once we know what to expect and when, perhaps the mind will be at peace.
